Thomas "Tom" Piatkowski – Founder / President / CEO
Tom has spent the last thirty years in the production agriculture industry (click here for more information on Our Founder). Prior to founding HealthySoil, Tom spent six years at Helena Chemical Company where he evaluated emerging technologies and developed programs and products to manage the ecology of agricultural and horticultural soils. Before Helena, Tom spent four years at bioscience company Cytozyme Laboratories, Inc. where he focused on the improvement of crop production and quality by addressing soil interactions and plant growth characteristics of various crops. Tom also spent five years at Agrimar Corp. in the sales and marketing of seaweed based foliar products used to enhance production and quality of fruits and vegetables. Prior to Agrimar, Tom was a Quality Control Officer at the Dole Food Company.

Tom is a licensed Agricultural Pest Control Advisor (PCA) in California. He holds a BA degree in Biology from Case Western Reserve University and an MS degree in Animal Nutrition from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Tom also spent three years stationed in Antigua, West Indies as a Livestock Officer with the U.S. Peace Corps. When not studying the wonders of soil science, Tom enjoys spending time with his daughter and black Labrador retriever "Mikey."

Laura Kreitler – Executive VP / CFO
Laura Kreitler joined HealthySoil in early 2009 to help Tom manage and grow the business. Previously, Laura spent five years at Citigroup’s Corporate & Investment Bank in the Private Equity Placements and Equity Sales divisions. She was also a Summer Associate at PayPal in the Consumer Marketing group. Laura has a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Laura is an outdoor enthusiast and third generation family winegrower at Bates Ranch | Janaca Vineyards.

Jose Uribe – Branch Manager
Jose is one of the original hires at HealthySoil. Since 2006, Jose has been an integral part of the HealthySoil team. Jose is familiar with every aspect of the HealthySoil operations and is responsible for servicing our customers throughout the Central Coast of California.

Jesus Ortega – Operations Manager
Jesus joined HealthySoil in 2006 where he is now the Operations Manager for the Gonzales branch.

Jeff Wallace – Branch Manager
In early 2004 Jeff met HealthySoil CEO Tom Piatkowski and quickly recognized the Company’s potential to change the way agricultural and horticultural soils are managed. Following the construction of a production facility in Orange, CA Jeff officially joined the HealthySoil team in 2007 as the Orange County Branch Manager. Prior to HealthySoil, Jeff spent over 15 years as the Product Manager and General Manager of his family’s water and wastewater treatment company. His experience in sales, marketing, and business development led to the creation of Hydrosorb, inc., a company that develops products for erosion control, dust control and water conservation across a variety of industries. Jeff received his BA in Business and Religion from Southern California College (now Vanguard University). Jeff resides in Mission Viejo, CA with his wife and two energetic young sons.

Sandra Miller – Technical Sales
Sandra joined HealthySoil in 2009 in a Technical Sales role for Southern CA. She has an MS from PCOM.
